Founded in 1942 by Joaquim Muntada Toneu, Molí Muntada continues its activity today, with the third generation of
the family leading the company.
It was originally linked to the agricultural activity of Osona.
Its geographical position (a damp, cereal-growing area) was complemented
with a strategic location on the important Manlleu industrial canal,
in the River Ter basin.
Four water-powered Robinson mills made it possible to manufacture
the first cereal flour. We still preserve two of them, as witnesses
to our origins.
The company always alternated the grinding of cereals for
agricultural use with the manufacture of flour for human consumption.
